I am obsessed with velvet. The softness, the Lolita-vibe, the innocence yet sexiness; I love it all. Pair a dress in this fabric (preferably dark blue, black or dark red) with high heals and sheer black tights and you have me. While reading Vogue's October issue I came across a picture of a perfect example of the perfect little velvet dress. The designer, was Charles Anastase. One Style.com search later, and I was head over heals in love with his Lolita take on this trend. First thing I am going to do tomorow? Buy fabric to make a dress like this on my own.
