Everybody knows that christmas is just a giant excuse for catching up with your friends and drink yourself drunk. (I do love christmas, giving gifts to the people you care about, eating great food and decorating the house, but the best part is to meet up with all the people you haven´t seen for a while. Don´t you agree?)
Rag & Bone resort 2011 and pre fall 2011; I DIE! I mean, this is me in all ways - boots, dresses and chunky knits and jumpers over little dresses. I´ve been wanting to try out the maxi-trend for quite some time now, but I never seem to get it on. My excuse is always "i´m too short", but really, as long as I´m wearing heels, I´m not. So what is stopping me? No idea. Next buy: A maxi dress.
Portfolio delivered and one exam to go. Gah, why do we have to go trough all this (ok, I see why, but still, I just want to write - not explaining why I decided to replace one word with another) At least working with my portfolio became a little bitt funnier by arranging a photoshoot in our livingroom. You wold never have guessed that these photos belongs to an article about personal economy, would you?
I got this neckless from one of the most extraordinary persons I know, and I think it´s perfect. It means the world to me, because the bird is so similar to the one tattooed on my arm. I decided to decorate myself with some ink about a month ago, and it says "hun er fri" (she´s free, my favorite song from the norwegian band Raga Rockers) and a bird that symbolizes freedom. I´ve named it Bob Dylan, so now I have both Raga Rockers and Bob Dylan close to me at all times. "Hun er fri" or "she´s free" fits me perfectly, and everybody who knows me agrees that it completes me.
After christmas I´m so going to expand my Acne-collection with this zone-print singlet. It´s perfection! (I mean, the galaxy, glitter, oversized, simple: you can use it anytime and anywhere. And one garment just dosn´t get better than that)
Vintage YSL smoking jacket. The price? 290 NOK. Really, it´s almost ridiculous. Unfortunately it´s way too big for me, and by that I mean huge, and not in a good way like my beloved oversized black smoking jacket. As a fan of the oversized I´ve come to realize that things actually can be to big. In other words, there are gonna be one happy Daddy on christmas eve.
I love Christopher Kanes cosmic catastrophe print in his resort 2011 collection. Apart from the drop-waisted t-shirt dresses, which in my eyes were awful, I really loved the whole thing; (ok, so maybe not the shoes either). But the rest is really, really great, and I cud totally see myself wear all of it. Can we say that the stars are looking bright for Mr. Kane? I think we most definitely can.
