I was the lucky winner of this Mulberry bag over at Celine/Hippie, hippie milkshake blog some time ago. And, yes, as I wrote in my entry: One day I´m going to have the real Alexa bag hanging on my shoulder, as I´m walking over to my NY City Vogue office. First stop on the way to get there? Getting an internship at a cool magazine (spending the first two months of 2011 working, I really do love my school). So! Fashion magazines of the world - hire me?!?! I make extremely good coffee! Pleas, don´t make me work at the local paper for two months!

Btw: I´m on my way to two weeks full with festivals, friends, a bunch of cute swedish guys and lots and lots of fun, so yeah, don´t forget about me!

I was going to post the regular lookbook-pictures from Stella McCartneys Resort 2011 collection, not that the collection is any less brilliant in those, but then I stumbeled acros Hanneli Mustaparta backstage photos from the same show; and WOW. I fell even more in love with it. I must say, resort is starting to become my favorite season. Or, spring, as McCartney herself likes to call it. Acording to her; resort sounds so unsexy. Not fully understanding how the word "resort" can be any less sexier than "fall" - one thing that was steamingly hot was the collection itself.

(OK, I kinda get that "spring" sounds better than "resort", but common, "resort" it at least better than "fall/winter". Talk about depressive.)

Met up with my friend Vi the other day. After a week of touring the country with C1rca stair master and Playboard he was pretty beaten up, but a pair of Fam Irvoll sunglasses put that smile back on his face. (eh, I bride him into wearing them, so much fun) Went out to Pirbadet to watch some good skating, and dam! Those kids god talent! (The quote is btw by Tony Hawk)

Erin Fetherston Resort 2011

I can´t believe this! Like one of my fellow classmates stated earlier today while watching the collection " I have never laid my eyes on a collection that defines someone's style like this defines yours, Silje". I absolutely love everything about this (except maybe the full length dress). So simple, chick and fun; Wish I could walk around in heals and dresses everyday. On the other hand, I do love my converse (picture these outfits with converse shoes, it still works, right?). And you cant skate in heals or flats. He. Anyways, when I´m living in NY, then Im going to wear this, everyday. Can´t wait!

Redesign

Pretending to be the serious student I really am, I spent my saturday night at home instead of out and about. Not that I spent the night studying or anything (probably should have though). I used the night to dance around to my favorite music and catched up on some sewing. Old pink jacked became much more wearable and an old 50s skirt became short. I adore the details on the back of the jacket. So pretty!

Hey you get off of my cloud

Had to spend the saturday at school, so I put on a dress, red lipstick and sparkly ballerina shoes to lighten up. It worked. But still; Saturday, school. Somethings wrong there. Thank god its only two weeks until the summer holidays. Can´t wait to get back home. I by the way made my way to Retros (this heavenly store in Trondheim) re-opening today. Oh the Acne, Alexander Wang and Stella McCartney; love it.

VOGUE

While watching "The September Issue" last night, I once again realised how mutch I love Fashion. Clothes are so mutch more than just pants, dresses and skirts. Clothes are a way to express yourself. It´s art. It defines the spirit of the society, and it tells a story. Not to mention how amazing a well made gown looks like. Fashion isn't just clothes. Fashion is life.
