27 dresses

Do you remember the movie "27 dresses", staring Katherine Heigl? Cute girl has an obsession with weddings, meets cute boy who finds 27 bridesmaid dresses in her closet. They fall in love, he writes an article about her, forgets to tell her about it, girl gets mad, and so on?

Well, today I decided to clean up my wardrobe, and with that comes counting my dresses. 27 is the precise number of dresses in my closet. What can I say? Some have a soft heart for shoes. Some for handbags. My heart belongs with dresses. Beautiful, soft, perfect dresses. The thing about dresses is that they make you feel pretty. Having a bad day? The perfect dress will give you the confidence and the comfort to face the day. They make stories. I still remember what dress I wore at every occasion while hanging out with my last romance. What dress I wore at that party, and all the good memories that got created while wearing it. The history sticks with the dress, and the next time I´m wearing it, I will remember that great night out. And that is just the kinds of thing that makes my day.

Denim demon

Fell in love with using denim over denim during the festivals last summer; Practically living in jeans and a denim shirt. Now, the sun is on its way back, and with it, the denim. I´m liking it.

Bik Bok + Charlotte Thorstvedt

I must say, these campaign pictures for Charlotte Thorstvedts Bik Bok collection is looking good! But then again, they are taken by photographer Isabel Watson, and she makes everything and everyone look good. I adore the vibe her photos give. The product photos of the collection, is on the other hand not so good. There they look cheap, boring and uninspiring. Miss Thorstvedt has an amazing style, but I think this collaboration would have done better if she was just the inspiration behind the cloths, and not the designer. The result was rather disappointing if you ask me. Oh well, the collection is launched in store tomorrow, who knows, maybe they will blow my mind in real life? (I have my doubts about that though)

Spent the school day searching the streets for cool people to out in the streetstyle section in our student magazine. Thinking about putting this model in there. The pants are amazing! Perfect for this summers festivals, witch btw cant come around fast enough. I´m going to see The Kooks for christ sake. Falling in love just by the thought of it.

It´s on everyones lips, and definitely on mine. The Chanel Coco lipstick. Oh well, not quite yet. Being a student, my friend Martine at Estetique denied me to buy it (I had already fallen in love with the 463 "rose satin" nail polish, and brought it home). According to her, it´s more important to have food on the table than the perfect touch of pink on your lips. I kinda see her point, but only kinda.

Someday somehow

Someday, my apartment is going to look like this. Of course, I have to move out of the flat I´m sharing with three other girls, and hopefully it will be in Paris, New York or Stockholm. A brick wall, big windows, high sealing and white walls; It´s going to be perfect. And of course, big window-seals is a must. There I´m going to spend my nights, drinking white wine, smoking a cigarette (it´s bad for you! and I don´t really smoke either), reading books about love and listening to music. The apartment is also going to host the best parties, with the best friends. Someday.. I cant wait!

I´m a sucker for old photography and norwegian nature, so it´s no shocker that I adore these photos taken my my beloved grandparents back in the 60s. My grandparents were seriously the coolest people alive. They spent their honeymoon at motorcycles, touring Norway. That must have been life.
