Oh God I hate this outfit thing. I feel so stupid! (and I look weird, still hangover at this picture though) But hey, I guess thats what a "a fashion blog" is all bout. After Saturday my tights are ripped to shreds, but being away/home for the easter holidays leaves me with a restricted wardrobe. I´m living out of a suitcase, enough said. I think it looks kinda OK. My mother, on the other hand, hates it. Well, that just makes it more fun to wear them.
According to the woman working at the perfumery next to the cute little shop where I spend my spear time this is the new "it color". Chanel 505; Particuliére. She insisted that just during saturday, five people came asking for it! But they were sold out, so buhuhu. "Lucky" me, I got to borrow the last bottle (extremely quiet day at work, so I paint my nails. Time and money saved). Cant really see the whole buzz about it though. It looks, eh, muddy. (not particulary found of the whole nude and naturals trend overall) Much more found of the two other colors from Chanels ss2010 nailpolish colection. Going to work tomorow aswell. I wish for a quiet day, then I can try them on. Oh, who said work wasn't fun?
Spring is finally here, and I can wear tights and ballerinas without freezing myself to death. Don´t be fooled by the picture tough, I have to wear a big parkas over it all. Not that springy just yet. But soon, very soon. Cant wait!
Edit: Today it started snowing again.. Oh joy.
I cant wait to see this band at the Peace & Love festival this summer. And with the sun shining outside, their sweet pop-rock tones fits perfectly to my mood. I´m so looking forward to the summer holidays. Festivals, Stockholm, friends, roadtrip, FESTIVALS. Ah, joy joy joy.
These are some of my Paris fashion week lovers. Yves Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney, Sonia Rykiel and Celine. Although it might not reflect that much on my personal style (I feel that I´m a bit too young for it yet) I am a sucker for the classic at heart. I absolutely love the classic theme that Paris fashion week has going on. When I´m in my 20s! Then I´m going to wear suits, Chanel and YSL.
Fun story: after a amazing night out in London, we got up at 6 am (everybody stayed over at Justices), took the train back to Kingston, went to bed once again and was out the door again at 1 pm on our way to Brick Lain. Then we spent the next hour and a half in cue to get inside the jumbo sale at this random second hand store. An hour and a half! The cue went around the block! It was totally worth it though. The perfect jeans-short, plain blue skirt, three other dresses, Anders got himself three jackets and I found this dress - perfectly blue, and with shoulder pads! And all this for 20 pounds! Going to show it all later, have to customize everything first (this dress got shorter and I fixed the arms)
These jacket was the definite highlight at Burberry Prorsums A/W 2010 show. The leather jacket kinda reminds me of a jacket Acne did a season ago, I loved that one, and I definitely love this one. Just for the record; my birthday is in 4 months. Someone? Anyone? Pleas get me this jacket, I promise to be good the rest of the year.
Its times like these that makes me regret moving away and stating my journalism studies right away after ending high school. Think, just for a second, that at this moment I could have been traveling the world, dancing in Tokyo, or living the life in Austria, spending every day skiing and getting drunk like my best friend do. On the other hand. I needed to get out of that town and hadnt survived another minute in it.
My friend Vi just god back from Barcelona, where he spent some days filming footage for his new skateboarding video "Our Home Where We Belong". (It was supposed to be done ages ago, but those who wait for something good cane wait a little bit longer) I was so envious when he walked out of that apartment and got on the plain, while I was still asleep, at his place, in Oslo, while it was snowing outside. Ah, I cant wait for summer, and festivals and new roomates to come along. I want to skateboard, drink beer in the park and wear dresses without stockings! Ah, summer, come now!
I by the way love (there is that word again) my new polkadotted skirt from Urban Outfitters. Polkadotts makes me happy.
