For those of you who know me, or have followed my blog fore a while, knows that I am all about stripes. Take a look in my wardrobe and you will find a bunch of striped dresses, skirts, t-shirts and sweaters, and you know what? I love it (as I do with mostly everything else). Stripes are so simple and chick, and they can be used with everything. Break up the pattern by using a belt or a vest, and don´t be afraid to mix different patterns (like I did on the Teen Vogue girl of the week photo). And by the way, try wearing white stockings. It makes you feel like a four-year old again. Fun.

The things we do #3

Instead of paying attention in school, we spend our time at Acne.se and net-a-porter, and fall in love with these two jackets. They are both perfect, just absolutely perfect. The denim jacket from Alexander Wang (as featured in the Lissy Trullie video) is one of my personal "it-items" favorites, I just have to have it! But with the current price-tag I guess dreaming about it will be enough. Combining the sleeves from a old leather jacket with a denim vest, are we talking DIY project here guys? Oh yes we are.

No Nationality

(ph. from projectnn07.com)
Just got of the phone from interviewing Alexander at Modo about NN07s new corporation with jeans-guru Rasmus WingĂ„rdh. Believe me, this is going to be big! According to Alex, when NN07 decides to do something, they do it big, so this is going to be some good denim! Yes, denim. NN07 is designing their own line of denim, and believe me Kids, that is what next fall is going to be all about. The preppy chinos-bow ties-shirts and cardigan dude is replacing his be loving chinos with jeans and going all rock and roll. I´m trilled.

Monki Love

Monki is opening their new flagship store in Oslo tonight, and I´m not there. And I love and adore Monki. Kinda regret the whole moving-to-Trondheim-and-not-to-Oslo thing, especially when you get these invites to fun stuff all the time. Oh well, maybe next year. You cant get everything, right?

In town for a minute or two

Thursday night I was fed up with Trondheim and homesick as hell. So, friday I jumped in a car with my roommate and drove home. It was the smartest thing I have done for ages. Some of the best of the pest people was in town for the weekend, and I have spent my time with my best friends, dresses, cava and jumping in my new big bed. I got home around 8 in the morning sunday, hangover as hell and attending a family birthday-party, but it was totally worth it.

Karma baby!

Today I got up way too early, hangover as hell, and went to H&M to stand in the gigantic cue to get my hands on a pear of Jimmy Choo stilettos. After writing shit loads of articles about the guest collection for both Norwegian Fashion and School I´m kinda fed up about the whole thing, but hey, shoes are shoes. Here comes the shocker; the shoes are not mine. You didn't see that one coming did you? As the good friend I am I got up to buy shoes for my shoe crazy, ebayjunkie of a best friend. Did somebody say good karma? Oh yes they did.

Boy boy / Friends friends
I love this movie, and of course I love the song. It totally reminds me of me and my best girlfriends, and how we used to act when we were all together. Its one thing Im perticiulary not found of when it comes to university, moving, living alone, staring a life ect ect, and that is when your friends are not coming whit you. Next year on the other hand, is going to be the best. And one more thing, the fashion in this video is absolutely lovable. That Alexander Wang jacket? I love it!

Red screen life

I love this nail polish from Alessandro. Don´t remember the name of the colour though, but it reminds me of summer and all the good times I´ve had with it. Its just the perfect shade of red, and that all it takes me to be happy at the moment.
