The Lost Weekends

Went to a festival last weekend, met a lot of cute people, spent a -lot- of money on beer, ate a lot of hotdogs and listened to a great bunch of music. More pictures coming later, I´m buzzy drinking pink vine and cava.

Rings

I got a new ring today. A Lebanon ring my dad calls it, apparently because thats where they came from originally. Mine used to be my moms, my dad just started wearing my granddads and my little brother i supposed to get my dads when he gets home from camp. Ha ha, family-rings, how cheesy. Anyways, I love it (I love everything) and it is quite funny, it´s in sepperate pieces so you have to put them together like a puzzle. Big kids, easy fun.

Let the good times roll

Celebrated my birthday yesterday. On a Wednesday, with two bottles of rose vine, cava, pink cupcakes and all of my friends. I had such a good time, I cant help smiling while thinking of me and Anne jumping around dancing to our favorite music. Got to bed around, well, I don´t remember, but the sun was up, and that is my friends, lovely.

Welcome to the family

It´s summertime and it´s raining outside. What do you do? Make nice dresses to wear when the sun decides to come out again of course! Made this dress by using the skirt from another dress and the leftovers from my pretty red summer dress to make a tube-top. Then sew it all together and viola - a new dress!

Seriously, I have too many dresses.

A year ago I was completely in love with big watches, inspires by menswear. My parents knew that, so fore my 18´th birthday I got the perfect customized mens-watch. I love it very much, but this year however, I cave fore a watch like the ones in this photo. They are so girly, chic, simple and old-fashioned. Let´s go raiding the charity/second hand shops!

3 best friends, 3 styles

It´s funny how 3 best friends can have such different styles. I´m the chic-boho-parisian-rock and roll girl. Malena (in the middle) never goes out the door without heels, is a complete eBay junkie, loves the baroque and is most of the time spotted in baroque inspired dresses and with an Anne Boleyn neckless. Caroline (to the right) just do whatever she wants to, and don´t care shit about what other people might think.

Anyways, my tips when it comes to style is to find something that suits you, reflects you´re personality and that you fell comfortable with. And then, you stick with it.

I love them, I love us, and I love everything we do together.

I love the test-shoots my friend Martine did in Oslo a couple of weeks ago with photographer Astrid Brandt. The black and white thing, the hot summer nights, the dress she is wearing and all the smoking; it really captures that feeling you get in the summer. Lovely.

Jumpsuit

I have finally found the perfect jumpsuit, oh well, my mom found if for me. Anyways, I´m currently living in it, accessorized with my red and white bikini and blonde-summer hair.

Project Runway

While being hangover at the couch, zapping through the tv-channels, I stopped at the Project Runway season 5 final, and am I glad I did! The winner, Leanne made my heart melt by showing this beautiful collection. The way the fabrics were flowing, like water down the runway, it´s just pretty, beautiful and completely heart-melting.

New vintage dress, which I love of course. Bought at the local salvation army shop and customized by me. When I first brought it home my mom just looked weird at it at said it locked like something she would have been wearing in the early 90´s while pregnant with my little brother, but after cutting it short short even she admitted that it was totally adorable.
