Inspiration

Red lipstick is the best. It's sexy, classy and it reminds me of Paris and somehow Coco Chanel. So common girls, ditch the whole a naturale make up look this spring, and paint those lips all red.

It's summertime in the city

(pic from urbanoutfitters.co.uk)
I adore the new urban outfitters collection Reluxe. A mix between Acne and Alexander Wang and perfectly fitted for my style. White, grey and black, combined with long cardigans and vests, ballerinas and sunglasses. Give me this wardrobe and you will make my day (and summer wardrobe).

Thursdays

This is why we go out on Thursdays. You got to love the whole friends, vine and music part. Although apparently I'm not a big fan of white-whine. Too bad, I really want to like it.

Friday

They don't know how we spend our days

This is how we spend our Saturday mornings, eating fun breakfast in sunshine and lunching in cute cafes. Oh, you got to love those days when everything seems perfect.

Thursday

Light

My lamp just fell down from my ceiling, or it didn't fall dow, the knot that made the string shorter untightned itself, and voila, I have a lamp which hangs one meter above my bedroom floor. I love it, my friends hate it and just thinks it's in the way. Fun fun fun.

Wednesday

The shape issue

(pic from style.com)
The new issue of Vogue is called The Shape Issue, and I think it's brilliant! It celebrates the woman body, thin, tall, pregnant, curvy, tall and short, and shows that you don't have too be model thin to be in Vogue and to look beautiful. These are my three favorites among the pictures. Short; Olivia Thirby and Zoƫ Kravitz, thin; Charlotte Gainsburg and Lou Doillon and curvy; Adele.

Monday

Old people in the sunshine

Old people fascinates me. I have these distinctive plans of how I'm going to look and act when I once get past 60. I will spend the cold winter months in Asia, and have a flat in Paris. I will dress up in pastels or Chanel and eat out everyday. I will have a fat cat, listen to rock music and wear diamonds at lunch.
Today I saw this amazingly cool old woman. She was wearing a bright purple coat, beige boots and around her neck; a fox fur. Her hair was dark grey, and put back in a tight knot. The nails was laid in perfect french manicure. And the best part; she refereed to her husband as "The General", and told me in low voice that she forced him to join her on her shopping-trips and that he was always complaining, but deep down he was really enjoying himself.

Saturday

When the feeling is right, Im gonna run all night

When in middle of nowhere, waiting for a key, all dressed up in high heels and with a skateboard in the back seat of you're mom's car, what would you do? Make you're fist fashion series of course.

Fake leather jacket and black ruffle dress from H&M, rings from everywhere.

It's a beautiful day

It's sunny and lovely outside and all I want to do is skating, eating ice cream and wear sunglasses. Unfortunately I have to sit inn all day, studying for a math-test I doomed to flunk.

Wednesday

Obsession

(pic from Jack & Jil blog)
Give me a boy who look like this, and I will fall in love with him right away. I'm currently obsessed about the Jack & Jil blog, I just can't stop checking it for updates! The pictures are simply perfect, and these guys are supercute.

Monday

It's a saturday!

Pictures from saturday night.

Sunday

Back to the 80's

With a pair of Converse shoes and a denim-shirt. Fashion magazines has listed this trend as one of the top ones for spring and summer 2008, and with sunny days and temperatures around 10 degrees I'm happily picking it up. Although, I think I will be wearing the shirt whit boots instead of Converse. It makes it just a bit more elegant and chic and more suitable to my style.

Tramps like us, Baby we were born to run

You wanna know something crazy? I got my drivers license today! I'm now able to drive, without an adult sitting next too me! I'm in love with this feeling of freedom and happiness driving brings. I'm planing a road trip with my friends, and the most important part of every successful road trip is, of course, the music. No wonder Born to Run  by Bruce Springsteen is going to be featured on the tape.

This picture, by the way, represent all of my favorites. Striped sweaters, slim leather belts, old jewelry that means something and my second hand skirt with a history.

Monday

Bows

Bows are supercute and my friend Kristin has the most beautiful hair ever! Although, I have no idea how to combine them into my wardrobe, because they don't fit my style at all. Too bad, because they are God damn cute.

Wednesday

Re-falling in love with Mr. Chuck Taylor

Sorry for the bad quality of the photos, my Canon camera was, as I've said earlier, stolen, so I have to use my shitty old digital camera that wont work properly.
I've totally re-fallen in love whit my white converse shoes these past weeks. There is really not much to say about them, just that they fit with everything. The photos was btw taken at my school, I seriously think we have the coolest hallway-floor in the country!

Tuesday

Likes and dislikes

(all pictures from style.com)
The past weeks both Swedish Acne and British Burberry Prorsum have held their fall/winter 09 runway shows in respectively London and Milan. I'm madly in love with both the collections, but there are certain likes and dislikes.
Number one; Acnes transparent pants! I hate them, they actually makes me sick to my stomach. They are pure ugliness and I cant see anyone wearing them. They look like you been cutting apart you're umbrella and made freaking  pants out of it as a DIY project.
Number two; Burberry Prorsum's shoes! I really don't get why the shoes has to be so high in the front, and personally I don't think it's pretty at all. And it's absolutely not flattering either. They would have been perfectly fine, if it was not for that darn plato thing in the front. Oh well, thats my opinion anyway.

Monday

nights #6 Let's all play dress up!

Well, long time no see for the Nights photos, but now they are back! Saturday we held a costume party, and it's seriously the best time I've had in quite some time. I was a ballerina, and a quite drunk one that is. Oh, I'm never gonna drink alcohol aver again! (I am lying and we both know it. t) Anyways, it was FUN!
