I have bought happiness

(pics by Synnøve Sandnes)
I have bought happiness, seriously, I have. The last Madrugada concert ever, the last supper, is to be held in Oslo Spektrum the 15th of november and I'm tickled pink. Madrugada is my favorite band in the whole world and this is going to be the last live concert to ever bee played, the last chance to Sivert Høyem and Frode Jacobsen do their magic and the last chance to ever hear Kids are on High Street live. I only wish I had the chance to see them while Robert Burås was still alive, he was the magic and will go down in history as the best norwegian guitarist thru all times. It you haven't heard them, google them for christ sake!

Monday

Wicked

(pic by style.com)
I have one word for the Luella spring/summer 09 collection and that is wicked. It is totally different from the previous ones, and not to mention the contrast between this falls dark Halloween inspired look to this super cute, super colorful, yet stylish outfits. I can't actually see myself wear purple stripe pants, but the design is brilliant and new and I just absolutely love it.

Sunday

It's a black affair.

(photos by Anders E.)
Yesterday was the black diamond party were everybody is supposed to dress up in fancy black clothing and act all fancypancy. At first we all thought it was going to bee so much fun, but after getting there, all we wanted was to leave. The music was horrible and the styling of the models in the show was unoriginal, boring and talentless. The party before the party was fun though. One of my best friends came back on holidays this week and it's really fun to hang again. We all drank champing, tequila and listened to music and played some as well. And never mind my hair. It was all curly when we left the house, but living in Aalesund brings a lot of stormy weather, so it ended up all damaged and horrible.

Wednesday

Undecided

Well, I was supose to write about the fashion weeks and my all time favorites, but I simply can't deside my favorites. There are too many shows and too little time to watch them, and I personally think so many of them are simply brilliant and beautiful that this post would take forever if I should, so, they will come bit by bit. What's your personal favorite this fashion week fall?

Love Love Hate

(pic from asos.com)

I'm in serious love with skirts. And tights, knee-high socks and coloured socks as well. I love these outfits from Asos and I love the fact that the currency is really low. And yes, I do love a lot of things. The only thing I don't love is the fact that I'm currently broke. I hate that fact actually.

Sunday

Here we go again.

(pic by me)
So here we are again. I'm never gonna drink a single drop of alcohol ever again and just the thought, and not to mention the smell of liquor, makes me wanna hurl. Well, I guess this is what it's all about, and when it comes to the point, we're all having such a good time while doing it! Birthday party yesterday, funfunfun. And not to mention the walking home, we actually met a cat who followed us and we called it Tussi!

Saturday

Adore

I simply adore this picture, the girl and the style. I have no idea where I found it though, sorry.

Wednesday

Give me Manatee Racket!

(pic by JørgenB)

Luckily for me I discovered this band by a quintessence and I have been in love with them ever since. When I first found their myspace page and saw that they came from this little city in Norway I was like "Wow, how can these guys not be British?" The lead singer has the cutes British accent, guitars alla The Kooks and they are simply as indie as you can get it! I have big plans about starting my own record label, just so I can sign them and get them out there. Oh somebody, pleas give this band a record deal!

They are now out with their new ep, which you can listen to here.

Channeling; Skins

(pic from e4.com)
Aah, I just can't get enough of this programme! Skins is simply brilliant, seriously, it is. Although the characters are just really troubled, I kinda wish I lived in their world. They have so many fun "buddy-moments". And not to mention the way these kids party. If you have a house me and my friends can trash, pleas give me as call. It would have been so much fun. And, the best of all, they look great while doing it. Especially Cassie, she is soo cute and totally living in her own world. I can't even start to describe it, this post can't fill so many words. So, if I haven't managed to plant the idea about you putting your ass in front of the computer yet and start buffering from surf the channel, DO IT! You won't regret, I promise.

Sunday

The girl with the hat

I'm in love with my hat. Seriously, I am. Anyways, yesterday was fun. I get the feeling that I use yesterday and fun quit often in the same sentence when I'm describing Saturday evening. Well, it was actually one of the greatest nights we had had out on town fore a long time now. No pictures though, I didn't deer bring my camera.

Are we supposed too like this?

(pic from style.com)
Can anyone pleas tell me whats happened to Miu Miu? From their beautiful silk dresses this spring to ugly sport inspired dresses, tights and jackets this fall? And what was the models wearing on their heads? Bathing-caps? And not to mention the colours; Black, orange and green, in the same outfit! They can't be serious! This must be a nightmare. Oh pleas let it be a nightmare.

Thursday

The best of Oslo fashion Week

(pic by stiengfoto.net)
Norwegian fashion is underrated, or at least some of it. It's not mind breaking, but still it's good design and her are my favorites from ofw.
Who Knew?, Underground Fashionshow, Maggi Wonka, Svin, Pling and Johnny Love all delivered beautiful collections and I can't wait to make them my summertime inspiration for 2009. Especially Underground Fashionshow and Pling, which added the frosting to the cake by bringing something new into the recipe. First of all, the collections didn't mainly consist of dresses, which seems to be the norwegian designers favorite pice of clothing. They also added "it", something new which I just can't seem to put my finger on. Anyways, I love it.

Wednesday

Entertainment

The magazine Natt & Dag is reborn and UPOP.blogg.no has developed into the internet-magazine UPOP.NO. Aah, it's going to be a happy fall for the happy readers in Norway. Oh, well, we will need something to entertain our self with while we wait for the snow.

Monday

Le Horrible

(I rock at paint!)
Today I saw a horrible woman. Or, the woman herself wasn’t all that horrible, it was her style that made my stomach go tipple lopes. Long fake nails – all ten of them painted in French manicure, a silver sprangle cardholder, tons on tons of makeup and the fakest Chanel bag I have ever laid my eyes on. And I must not forget the hair, long and thin, black underneath blonde and it was even coloured in the bang, which for the moment was pushed backwards. It looked absolutely horrible and miserable and I just felt sorry for the poor woman. Couldn’t she just understand that she was ruining herself?
So today’s advise people, do not, under any circumstances wear fake nails, not even for Halloween or a theme party. Do not dye your hair in layers and especially not in the colours black and white/blond. You only end up looking like Creuella DeVille, and she is truly the only person who can pull of a hairdo like that! And finally, pleas do not buy or use designers’ copies, who just scream copy! It only makes you look stupid. And we wouldn’t want that now, would we?

Sunday

Nights

(pic by me)
Pleas friends, don't hate me.

Friday

Genious

"It's ugly, but it saves lifes" Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!

Thursday

Fretex buys

Some days ago, my friends and I headed out for the second-hand store Fretex after school, in the intention to find me a white-lace dress. I have it all in my mind, but I simply just can’t find it. Anyways, the old handmade west and the secondhand Noa Noa skirt is now mine. I love the fact that these piece of clothing has a history. I imagine the west was used by an old grandmamma, and she probably made it herself and the skirt has been used running all over town on a sunny day.

Monday

B-O-R-E-D

I'm bored, I wish it was summer all over again and I wish the madrugada-ticketman would send a mail saying that he would be delighted to sell us his tickets.
