You got to love her dresses

(Pic from Style.com)
You got to love her dresses. Betsey Johnson spring 2008 ready to wear. When it comes to corky, flirty, sweet 50's dresses, Betsy is my favorite designer. I just found these pictures while looking trough my inspiration file, and they truly make me wish I lived in the US and got to go to a Senior prom. Surly, we have proms in Norway. But they are trown around Christmas and no one really wears prom dresses with glitter and tu-tu and stuff. Aah, what a shame. And who can forget the picture of Agyness wearing the blue prom dress and a black leather jacket? It was awesome.

Get Chenged away

(Pic from Kulturnett.no)
Mai Cheng is unbelievable. Just the way she compos a picture and the techniques she use to make the paintings look this way; it can blow you away. Especially when you get to see an original piece up close, and you can see all the details, the colours and the figures. According to me, the three tings that defines her style; blue and gold colours, layers and line-figures. Check her out!

Sunday

Welcome to the Moutains

So, when all the other kids was on their way home from the Hove festival, the cool kids was on their way to the mountains. It was so much fun and what we in Norwegians would call Idyll. Friday was spent outside, drinking and smoking and shouting with an airgun and playing volleyball. IT should also be mentioned that we played guitar and sang our lungs out too. Fun Fun Fun. The next day we actually went for a walk in the woods, almost got stuck in the mud and had a laugh. It was a perfect start for what hopefully will become a perfect summer.

Tiny Wini Bikini

I've got a brand new bikini. Woho. Normally I hate buying bikinis. I hate trying them on. I hate the fact that they are so small and I hate looking at my self in the dressing room, trying to figure out weather it's a hit or a miss. But this time it went fine, good, ok. I didn't even give it that much thoght. I just liked the colours, the pattern and the wooden pearls at the ends. It kinda has this bohemian/hippie 70's something vibe. Sooo, I boght it. Lovely.
Can't wait to wear it in Santorini in two weeks!

Friday

To the mountains

(Pic from last summer)
Soo, my friends and I are out camping/chilling at our cabin for the weekend. Back at Sunday or Monday or something. Ciao!

Thursday

Queens of Dogtown

Wanna hear a fun story? Well, my friend Caroline and I was out cruzing the streets on our skateboards. The first thing Caroline sad when I walked out the door with my camera on my back was "ooh, you are soo gonna trash that camera" and confident I answered "daha, I newer fall", because normally, while cruzing, I don't. We had the perfect trip, when all of a sudden I loos my concentration, hit some rocks, and fall, landing straight on my beloved camera. SHIT, is my first and only thought. The lincesheeld flays off, landing 10 meters away and my wrist hurts like hell. Perfect. But anyway, at first both Caroline and I panic, as the camera wont find it's focus. But after reviling that it was only a button pushed wrong and the camera had no further damage we cud both smile and continue our cruzing journey. Despite the fact that it had started raining again and my wrist and elbow was hurting. But who cares?
Later, we also watched my favorite movie, Lords Of Dogtown.
Beautiful, beautiful movie. Yes, indeed.

Sun, sun, sun

Yesterday the sun came out for the first time this week. Let's hope it lasts. It's still kinda cold, so tights is the key-item at the moment. Lucky me, I adore tights! And, I adore my new gladiator sandals. I think it's gonna be a long lasting friendship.

Monday

The Hove pants

My friend Kennyboy have been nagging me for weeks to, as he call it, ruin his pants. So, on Friday we vent to work with a scissor, a pen and some red thread and etc. It all started with me writing hove 08 above his knee, as he was going to the hove festival the next day and was bringing the pants with him. And therefor the name; the Hove pants. I wonder it he is actually going to wear them, but I guess that if he get drunk enough, he's doesn't care what he wear. Anyways, I think they turned out pretty cool. And yes, they are suppose to look crappy.

Sunday

The happy days

Soo, it has been raining for a week now. Rain, rain rainedy rain. I hate it, I i really do. No time for picnics in the park, walking barefoot in the sand, wearing summer dresses and eating outside. Bah. So, here are some happy memories from a picnic during the sunny days. Oh, boy, it seems like forever ago.
